Gujarat mai zafi da bushe a kasashen yammacin Indiya yana da nasabaccen kayan abinci. An san shi da ɗan ƙarawa mai dadi (a kalla an kara gwanin sukari ga yawancin abin da aka yi jita-jita!) Kuma shi ne al'ada gaba ɗaya mai cin ganyayyaki. Thaali (Hindi don babban farantin) shine Gujarati irin cin abinci da kuma kunshi babban farantin tare da wasu ƙananan ɗakuna a ciki, kowannensu yana dauke da kayan daban daban! Akwai nau'i biyu zuwa uku daban-daban na kayan lambu, da Rawar, da shinkafa ko pilau yogurt, kamar su Paratha ko Chapati ko Poori, gwangwani, salatin .... Abincin zai iya kunshi nau'in kayan lambu iri iri, shinkafa, lardin (India gurasa) da sutura! Gujaratis suna son abun ciye-ciye da dafa abinci da yawa. Wadannan sun hada da Farsan. A nan akwai tarin wasu daga cikin shahararrun Gujarati da aka fi sani a India.
